Course Description:
This is the second of the preaching practicums in the Sunset curriculum that emphasizes pulpit preaching. The primary objective is that students will continue to develop as preachers of God’s Word by preparing and delivering Bible-based sermons that are prepared with a Biblical topic in mind. Students are expected to show a good balance of biblical explanation and practical application, using the principles taught in the “Introduction to Homiletics” course and the previous preaching practicums.
