Classes for this term will focus on challenges in Family and Youth Ministry. The classes will look at diverse subjects such as how to solidify faith in our youth, homosexuality and gender, drugs and alcohol, sex, pregnancy, abortion, pornography, broken homes, abuse, and baptism (age of accountability). We will also look at three books, “The Anxious Generation,” “Faith of the Exiles,” and “Reimagining Ministry for Gen Alpha.”

Classes for this term will focus on practical Youth Ministry. The classes will look how to do many of the things that are found in Family and Youth Ministry such as, youth rallies, youth retreats, Bible studies, mission trips, service projects, church camp, fundraising, and VBS. We will also look at keeping a healthy family life and avoiding burnout. Finally, we will look at how to work in a church office, working with elders and deacons, budgets and interviews.
