CHRISTIAN INTERPRETERS EMPHASIS (2nd Term)
Course Description
This course will prepare students to interpret in a variety of setting both formal and informal. The lessons will help to build students’ ASL vocabulary by focusing on a variety of subjects. Students will use the interpreting skills and vocabulary taught in class to prepare daily assignments that will be performed in the classroom and evaluated by their teacher. This course will also include in class interpreting and fingerspelling practice.

CHRISTIAN INTERPRETERS EMPHASIS
Course Description: To learn about the uniqueness of the Deaf Culture and their language (ASL) To understand the reasons for how and why the Deaf interact with one another as well as with the Hearing. To know and understand the ethics required as an interpreter within the Deaf community. To continue to experience and interact within the Deaf community.
