Course Description:
The practicum is a continuation of “Confident Preaching.” It takes place during the same term that we study “Introduction to Homiletics.” Each student will be given multiple, short speaking assignments. Most of the assignments are related to the various parts of sermon preparation and delivery being studied in the homiletics course.

Second Term
Practicum is Monday-Thursday, 1:00-1:40 PM
Course Description:
The ambition of this practicum offers the student the opportunity to experience the preparation and delivery of topical Bible teaching. Training presentations and instructional materials are provided during the first week of classes. A list of Bible topics will be provided. Once each student has selected a topic and has been approved by the instructor, you will be assigned a scheduled date for presentation during the term of classes. Teacher evaluation will follow each student-led Bible study.

This course is designed to strengthen and encourage the student in her ability to present a biographical lesson about a woman in Scripture.

Public Speaking 6 is the "Fruit" of Public Speaking 5. Each student will present an exegetical lesson from a Biblical passage of their choosing incorporated with the tools from our study of Public Speaking 5.
